Tip by Rob
Today we present to you a new tip from our account manager Rob, who is responsible for the industrial and automotive sector, about the importance of data collection. You know an online seminar is the right way to reach your target audience, but gathering information about participants in your webinar is just as important as getting your message across.

OnlineSeminars webinar software offers various opportunities for interaction. With the proper use of these functionalities, you involve participants in your online presentation while you gather information about your target audience. For example, you can verify if your message gets across correctly by asking poll questions.

In addition, you will get to know your participants better and better which enables you for a more targeted approach in future marketing campaigns.

Data collection
All webinar data is registered by our platform so that you have access to lots of information right after your online presentation. Think about:

  • Participant data
  • Viewing time
  • Answers to poll and survey questions

You will also get an overview of the full chat history so you can see what questions your viewers have asked. The data collection does not stop at the live webinar. Also in the on-demand version of your presentation, which can be viewed at any time, data will continue to be collected.
Read more about this in our Webinar Tip 5.

API Interface
To get the data collected directly through your own database, you need an API (Application Programming Interface). An API allows data to be exchanged completely protected between your system and our platform.

Using an interface in between the OnlineSeminar platform and, for example, your Marketing Automation tool or your CRM, you will save a lot of time. Taking work off the hands of your marketer, salesperson and probably yourself.
