In the National Climate Agreement, a great deal of new legislation has been announced to give legal shape to the energy transition. The draft bill Wet collectieve warmtevoorziening is intended to enable the construction and operation of heat networks which will play an important role in the energy transition, particularly in existing residential areas – and the connection of the built-up area to these networks.
